Sky HD+ box fault?

Have had several problems with my sky hd box but find if i hold the back up button onthe top pull out the mains lead while holding button put lead back wait for buttons on front to start flashing you will then see updating message on screen take finger off button wait for it to download then start up again this has worked every time,

I have a problem with a new box. Keeps cutting out updated the software but as soon as i push the green button in tv guide it cuts out again and goes to the SKY+ msg and cuts out once more. Grrrrr Can someone help
