Mend Nissan Almera Leak Water Footwell

Almera 2001 drivers footwell leak?

When parked outside after it rains the drivers footwell on my Almera has a puddle of water, I have stripped the door and checked the plastic liner the glue seems to be ok without any noticeable gaps. I have also removed the scuttle panel around the wipers to check for a blocked drain but could not find anything resembling a drain.
Any suggestions would be appreciated I do not like the damp carpet aroma
