Mend John Deere LT155 Lawn Tractor Years

Lawn Tractor John Deere LT155?

I bought a John Deere LT155 Hydrostat in 1998. Over the last 3 years it barely crawls in reverse; however, it runs just fine going forward. What could the problem be?
