Mend MTD LT1850

I have an MTD LT 1850 with electric PTO. My deck just turns off?

I have a white (MTD) LT1850 mower with electric PTO. My deck just turns off. Recently my mower stopped shutting the deck off when I would back up. I feel these problems are related. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or is familiar with this problem?

Finally fixed it today. It was the connector where the wire connects to the transmission. The wire was broke. the connector runs very close to a spring that moves while in use. Probably not a great design.

CHECK FOR A LOOSE WIRE ON THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER LINKAGE. iF THE WIRE IS LOOSE THE DECK WILL CONTINUE TO RUN WHEN YOU CHANGE TO REVERSE. aLSO IF THE WIRE IS LOOSE AND TOUCHES THE FRAME OR METAL IT CAUSE THE DECK TO QUIT.
