switch the wall socket on but do NOT switch the washer on. hold the: reduced creases, mini load and time saver buttons under the main screen at the same time for about five seconds till you hear a beep. by pressing the two buttons above the play/pause button flick through the languages till you get the one you want. press the child lock button to select the desired language. switch the wall socket off and then back on. switch the washing machine ON and hey presto, problem solved. :)

1) plug into the power supply & turn on at the socket.
2) do not press the on/off button on the machine at all.
3) press the 3 buttons marked "reduced creases+mini load+time saver" and hold down together until a beep is heard. approx 5 to 10 seconds.
4) leave for 10 seconds.
5) turn on with the on/off button.
6) you are ready to run through the language menu again.
7) select required language by pressing the "child lock" button once.

Managed to sort this out by having the machine PLUGGED IN but importantly have it TURNED OFF.
Press and hold the three middle buttons at the botton until you hear to beep. It takes a few seconds so be patient.
Had to try a couple of times but now it's in English.
