Mend Ferroli Modena 80E Combi Heating Warning Light

How can i fix my Ferroli Modena 80E?

Very often , the boiler shut down warning light comes on for my Combi boiler preventing the flow of any hot water to the taps and stops the radiators from coming on.
On turning the "reset" button and releasing after the recommended 15 seconds this often rectifies the defect however more often than not it doesn't.
What is causing this problem and how can i stop the "bolier shut down warning light" from coming on?

hi there have the gas pressure checked by a good and i mean a good engineer if boiler is not going into full burn on high demand the boiler will shut down.
this is a very common cause of boiler failure.
also check it is wired correrctly as the ferroli should have 4 wires to it a permanent live a switched live plus neutral and earth lots of people leave out the permant live again causing boiler to go into lockout as the pump cannot over run to disperse the heat
