Mend Compact SL8 Alarm Wires Main

compact sl8 alarm - pir?

I have an SL8 comapct alarm & have tried to fit a new PIR I can't get this to work even though all the wires are the same as the old one. I have opened the main box to see if I can reset the alarm now the whole alarm isn't working. Does anyone know how to fix this?
