how do i set the timing on my briggs straton,10hp/ohv engine ?

If you are talking about the timing marks on the Crank and cam, that is easy. All you need to do is turn the crank or cam until the 2 dots line up with each other. If it is out of time you might need to pull the cam out a little bit and rotate it separate of the crank until they line up. When they line up together then it is timed correctly.
