till display shows c 3.00 cannot get till to work, have reinserted till roll has made no difference

You need to put batteries in it.

Turn power off at wall.
Make sure batteries are out (behind paper roll)
Turn key to reg mode
turn on at wall and wait for three beeps
Put batteries in

That should do it. It should not happen any more
