Accenta G3/Optima G3 Alarm going off when it has not been set?

you have a tamper condition,open up the control panel,
beware there are mains power pesent,now on the printed circuit board bottom right,you will see two terminals marked tamper,put a link between these,remove the wires that are on the terminals,place out of the way .for now,close panel,reset,then try it out,the tamper could be anywhere in the circuit,loose pir cover,door contact,terminal block,bell box,doing this is just a quick fix,to find the fault you would need to have a test meter set on the ohms scale(resistance),give it a try,and by the way,change the standby battery if your system is over 5 years old.hope this helps
