Mend SinkMaster 750 Reset Button Jammed

garbage disposal with no reset button?

Hi, I have a sinkmaster model 750. My child jammed with with food and tried to push it down with a wooden spoon (I think that's what happened). Now the disposal does not turn on. Normally a reset button would solve the problem, but this model does NOT have a reset button. What should I do?
