how do I remove air bag and steering wheel on a Renault scenic?

Disconnect the battery & leave it diconnected for a few hours, before attempting to remove the airbag or its wiring, or it may detonate!

air bags are normally fitted with 3/4 torx screws which you get to from under s/wheel, remove these and dis-connect wiring, you should now be able to see s/wheel removal nut, just be very careful so airbag does not go off in your hands. light might reset just have to see when everything put back together.
