Mend Electrolux RM 6271 Fridge Light

how can i fix ?

Electrolux RM 6271 3 way fridge will not light on gas setting

Either igniter has packed up or if battery type need new battery or the gas valve thermocoupler/safety device needs changing.

Alternate are you pushing the control knob in and holding it in while pressing ingintion switch also even after pilot is on the knob needs to be held in for 10-15 secs or even try longer like 20-25
