whirlpool oven?

I have a Whirlpool double oven, circa 4.5 yrs old. Turned the lower oven on and it tripped the fuse. Put power back on, set clock etc and turned on oven to heat. Fan, etc came on but after a couple of minutes now heat. Could this be the element? any tips re fix?
