I have a 2008 focus titanium, and the key suddenly stoped working!?
My key has suddenly stopped working (won't open using the buttons on key), it won't even let me open the door with the key in the lock!!! I tried using my spare key but it has the same problem.
Has anyone seen this before?
Is it easily fixed?
Thanks for the replies, to answer one reply; no i havent had both keys in the same place. the spare was in a cupboard. only tried it when the first key didn't work.

Have you kept them in the same pocket as your mobile phone? Maybe that could have affected them with magnetic field.
