Mend Hotpoint Freezer Not Freezing

Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer Freezer not freezing?

THe freezer on my Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer is not freezing.

I have checked and I have 240V in to the compressor (White cable) and 240V between brown/blue on terminal block of compressor. The compressor kicks in , but only for a few seconds. I have it on fast freeze at present, but still no joy.

Any help out there?

Hi Hotpoint FFA91P Fridge Freezer, Freezer is not freezing the fan and compressor are working, it will go to -2 if you put it on fast freeze. Yours Richard

i had the same problem with mine. it turned out to be the thermistor. there is one for the fridge and another for the freezer. I found mine behind the panel at the rear of the freezer compartment
