how do i unlock my 2gb pny micro sd card ?

I have a motorola EM326g net 10 cell phone. I bought a PNY 2gb micro sd memory card. Everytime I plug my phone to the usb cord it says memory card locked when i unplug the phone it says memory card unlocked. It shows up on the media player as hooked up .When i sync music to my phone it shows memory being taken off the card but it doesnt show anyhting on the phone.how do i solve this problem.
