Mend Lazy Boy Lock Top Up

How can I get my lazy boy to lock at the top with the foot rest up?

My Lazy Boy no longer catches when the foot rest is up to raise your feet higher. It will catch at a low level still, but I feel like I am sliding out of the chair. How can I get it to catch with my feet at a higher level. Nothing looks broken under the chair and it catches when the chair is on it's side.
