How can I get the toilet cassette back into the toilet compartment?
Our Thetford toilet is the one with the manual flush.
I took the cassette out to empty and clean it and then found that it wouldn't go back into the compartment. I'm sure there can't be much wrong with it but it is baffling me.

make sure you have turned the lever that opens the bomb hole flap back to the closed position also that you have put the cover plate the right way round....with the raised bit inwards

At the risk of teaching Grandma to suck eggs, have you made sure that the slide knob is in the right position i.e. closed. Have you put the "hygiene" slide back on correctly. Are you putting it in the right way round.
Sorry if it sounds as though i am being patronising but the simple things get overlooked sometimes.
