Piaggio nrg makes a metallic sound when cold on pull away?

always here to help mate,good luck i have had the problem a few times and a malossi kevlar drive belt usually cures it try ve-uk they have a website.

its hard to say for sure but if its like a squealing noise it more likley that the drive belt is slipping when its cold and after the rubber has warmed up its gripping ,i would say this is the most likely cause and the brakes squeal if the anti squeal shim is missing from the back of the pad,just take the pads out of the caliper and get a piece of thin card like a cornflake packet and glue it to the back of the pads and refit them it will stop the noise ok
