how can i fix a ceiling pull cored?

i pulled the cored out of the connection and i need to fix it coz my girlfreind has gone nuts how do i do it

It can be done but it is extremely fiddly. When you take apart the cord housing unit be wary as it is spring-loaded and pieces may fly off. In all honesty it is easier to buy a new unit and just re-wire.
