Mend Qualcast Suffolk Punch 45 Fuel Plug

No spark to qualcast suffolk punch 45?

Just acquired a lawnmower and it won,t start. Fuel there and when i take out plug and earth it, pull chord there is no spark. Any ideas anyone?

Do you mean a 43? If this pre-dates 1995 with a black alloy engine block then it will have electronic ignition situates under the flywheel.

Fairly common fault although Atco/Qualcast no longer make the igntion module they are still available from Wipac for around £100 a pop.
