Mend Ford Fusion 1.4 Changed Battery Diesel

imobiliser on my ford fusion is not working?

i changed the battery on my imobiliser key for ford fusion 1.4 diesel (55) & now car will not start, looked in hand book & it was not very helpfull, do i need a code number ? if so, where would i find it, i have not got the money to go to a ford dealer to get it sorted, help!

immobilizer works off glass chip in remote changing batterys does not affect immobilizer does immobilizer light go off when key turned on ?
