My suspicion is that you have a batch of bad / inferior lamps.
I can not imagine any fault in a lamp that would cause a bulb to blow prematurely apart from a poor connection that causes the bulb to be constantly switched on and off.

Take it back to the shop,it could be dangerous,they have to replace it.
