Cigarette Lighter Fuse for Mondeo?

cigarette lighter not working in my 2004 Mondeo,fuse is fine any ideas

Cheers just got into the company pool car and the cigarette lighter is broke. Would never have found the fuse box on my own. Just took 5 mins to replace.

i Have a 52 plate petrol mondeo after searching for diagrams of fuse box lay out i found a sticker on the left hand outer side of glove box of the lay out, removing glove box bit tricky push both sides inwards and pull down same time then pull out from bottom lugs, fuse was 1st on 2nd row blue 15a fuse.

i have an 05 plate mondeo i have found the fuse box behind the glove box an changed 1 blown 15amp fuse which i thought was the cigerete lighter but lighter doesnt work still could any1 point me in the right direction of the fuse?

to be clear, there is a small lever thing right at the back far left, that unclips, then you have to bend slightly the sides in to allow the stops to get past, then you pull i forward out of the hinges, the fuse for the lighter is the first on the left the second row, 15 amps as has been said here. it's a pain to get to, what were they thinking doing this surely it could fit underneath, or around the steering column like other cars, (perhaps instead of that lovely cubby hole/draw to the right of the steering wheel. Anyway, it's tough to reach as it's right to one side, access is a bit of a nightmare. helps to use the fuse removal tool from the fusebox under the bonnet

i would never have found the fuse box behind the glove box but once you have pulled out the glove box no tools needed just press plastic thing and fuse box comes down and cig lighter is 2nd fuse down from left number 27 a light blue 15amp.it took me about 5 mins and that was in dark with a torch.

fuse is located behind the glove box as stated.but on a 1998 diesel is on the top row. after struggling for ages i inadvertently released the rack giving easy access to all the fuses.

Thanks - my cigarette lighter has also blown and due to Sat Nav being plugged in (although not a Garmin), must be a common problem!

It's Fuse F68 from what I've seen in the manual (I have the same problem). Could this blown fuse be the result of connecting power to a Garmin Nuvi Sat-Nav unit?

The central fuse box is behind the glove box. Open the glove box, pull in the sides and remove the glove box. There's a map to the fuses on the side of the glove box, the cigarette lighter one is on the second row from the top, second one in from the left. Just pull it out and replace.
