Mend Iveco Eurocargo 1998 Ford Stopped

1998 Ford Iveco Eurocargo Tachograph / Speedometer not working?

My speedometer has stopped working since disconnecting the batteries of my lorry. The Tacho used to flash a red light, which is now on all the time. Do I need to put the horsebox into automatic mode, how do I do this?

you need to feed new cable through old one. the old cable will be broken at the gear box end

needle may have gone to full deflection-if you look in needle "slot" you may find one needle to very end of it's travel, try sliding it back with your finger once you move it it will return to it's rest position.
