Mend Vectair Working Replaced Work

Extractor fan stopped working?

Hi, I replaced the bulb in the bathroom with an energy saving bulb but now the extractor fan will not work. I changed the bulb back to an ordinary one but the fan is still not working when I switch the light on. Has anyone got any ideas what might have happened? The fan is a Vectair one.
