Mend Philips 6104 Steam Wont Turn Off

Steam won't turn off?

My Philips Double Speed 6104 constantly steams without depressing the button on the handle. The only way to prevent this is to turn the steam function off completely. It is as if the inside function of the button is constantly depressed, it feels less positive when pushing the button on the handle.
