Mend Whirlpool AWZ412

brought new door catch worked 2 days then stopped?

We have a whirlpool awz412 washer/dryer we brought a new £43.00 door catch and we put in the 3 wires numbered 1,2,3 and it worked for two washes and two dries and now we either get a filling up then nothing or changing the 3 wires around we get the noise like its emptying but then nothing.we can't afford a new mach machine please help marie
