laptop make is advent 7060. The fault is i can load up using external monitor but main screen you can see very faint outline on screen. screen is a 15" tft (xga 1024 x 768).
Dont bother with Dixons. They will not supply parts even if they have got them. They will only repair it. The POOREST after sales service I have ever known.

As you have not received an answer maybe you should try DSG (aka Dixons) as Advent is one of their own brands.
