leaking hjuvik taps?

My Hjuvik faucet sprung a leak two days ago. The leak was in the spray hose, water coming out between the flex joints My ire was up thinking that there is no way Ikea would have parts for their faucets. And, indeed, it is true, they do not have replacement parts. However, the very kind and knowledgeable guy at my local plumbing supply properly identified both ends of the hose as 1/2" IPS female with a rubber seat. I got a 16" hose that I think is usually used for a supply lines to your toilet. $4.35 got me the part, and everything is back up and operational. No thanks to Ikea, but there are usually solutions to these issues!!

After two attempts to fix we are returning it. It has been installed for 10 months so the warrantee should still work. Anybody tried to return for a refund?

Is there anyone who then could send me the 14.5 inch hose from this unit? Mine also would leak from one of the control levers even when I made certain the Allen head set screw under the rubber cover was tight. I could use the 14.5 inch hose to make my faucet good again...almost good,

Flex hose sprung a leak (almost causing major flood, luckily son is light sleeper). Can't seem to find a place to buy another one to repair the faucet. Looks kind of ridiculous without the flexible hose attachment. Will keep looking.

I own this very defective faucet. It leaked out of the box and has continued to get worse. Ikea informs me there are no parts available anywhere. Upon visiting forums online I found out many people are having this problem. Do yourself a big favor and never buy Ikea plumbing products. My wife and I will never step foot again in any Ikea store!

I got the same problem. I'm not able to dismantel it so I guess gonna bring it back ti IKEA (10 year warranty)
