1997 Mondeo 2.0Ghia 16v Zetec.
Coolant temperature gauge not coming off the stop. Not losing coolant, and appears not to be overheating? Heater working fine. Not fuse, as petrol gauge is on same one, and working.

Was faulty connection on Coolant Temp. sender. Sorted! However...................slight hesitation on accelerating. Any ideas? ;>)

Possibility that the thermostat is stuck in open position. Will still give warm air through heater but engine won't reach full operating temperature and therefore won't register on the temp gauge.
