Mend Vulcan HX120

Vulcan Powerhouse HX120 ignition not lighting furnace?

The heating is not coming on, even though there is electricity available (fan comes on), but no heat. The remote control batteries are good, antenna is vertical on radio receiver. The ignition is a "hot surface ignition", rather than a pilot flame.

Any advice out there?
