AEG 74640 spins slowly?

HIya, My AEG 74640 has been getting noisy for a while - I suspected bearing wear - however it has now stopped spinning at speed when it has succesfully finished the wash cycle. The drum does spin but slowly. I thought maybe the belt may be slipping but there is no smell and the drum can be turned by hand. There is also no error codes displayed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jason
