Mend Thetford C200CW Tank Flushed Water

debris in flushing tank?

I have flushed out the tank with clean water, but still particles of flacky material some resembling a lining material are deposited around the toilet bowl. Only clean water with the fluid has been used in the flushing system.
I understand the model to be the C200CW manual flush
