the issue there is it has been opened at somepoint from outside wile the key is still in on the other side our lass does it all the time take out key cylinder from door via screw in side of sash then get 2 keys that fit that cylinder i presume u av a spare then just turn keys unti u can release them both in the lock position then replace cylinder
