Mend Red Ring Shower Faulty No Water

is my red ring shower on its way out?

Turned on shower - no water,just a humming noise from the unit,unscrewed hose and reconnected,still nothing. Next morning shower worked straight away.

Just wondering if something is about to go or if shower needs a new part. Maybe better to replace it.
