no timing marks ?

if petrol remove plugs, if diesel remove injectors put a long screwdriver into no.1 cylinder and get assistant to turn engine off the crank shaft you will see the screwdriver rise and fall get it to the point where it rises then just before it falls thatl be tdc, you will deffo see after a few turns what im on about, alternativly take off the head as the valves will be bent and again turn engine off crank you will see when no.1 is tdc
