Yikes,
Okay, here is the proper way to do this. First and foremost you must have a clean airfilter. Without the filter being clean you are wasting your time. You have a Lo and Hi idle screws. Turn them both clockwise until they stop, Not too tight or you will damage the tip of the needles. Then turn each screw counter clockwise 1 1/4 turns. The main idle can be adjusted after you get the engine started. If the chain turns while you are at idle then turn it counter clockwise (slowly to allow the fuel rate to catch up) until the chain stops turning. This is not while the throtle is engage during startup. Adjust the idle after it has warmed up and you disengage the throtle.

the trick is finding the proper idle speed then; adjust your high and low peaks. Sometime you have to do this several times untill they are all balanced out. Never let your chain saw run at to high of a rpm at full throttle.

I got the same problem with mine.

I got this from a different site.
I have a low idle and a high speed adjustment.
I'm going to try this on my high speed since my low is OK.

The setting should be 1.5 turns out from all the way in snug... as a baseline. You have to fine tune it when its warmed up till it revs up and down with little to no hesitation.
