what is an anti pollution fault on a petrol citroen c5?

Had the same thing antipollution fault ,engine light and service light also limp mode. took out airfilter vacumed out leaves that were there but had same fault! took for a little drive but had to do emergency stop because of some nutter going too fast at roundabout.the engine stalled, good thing too because once started back up fault was gone and car worked perfectly. dont know what caused it but glad its gone without needing garage.

They all seem to do it,HDi seem worst have had 2.2 for nearly 9 years .Either stop car for few mins or disconnect battery for couple of mins to reset ecu.
It is just a faulty reading in computer, dealers cant fix it I learned the hard way so save your money.

we have the same problem on our diesel c5 we cannot find out. our car stopped in the middle of spain and had to be tows back to england we lost excelleration the car went into safe mode that was it.

had this on my C5 04 reg, it was a break in the pipe to the sensor, main dealer only charged 2x investergations £85 x2.
then about £200 to fix it. I am going back to FORD.
