Mastermix MC130 cement mixer?

I have identical issue, however I replaced the power on/off switch which I bought from eBay. Fitted and machine start working but after two load runed then stopped. Now if you press and hold the green on button of the switch then it runs. However the extension lead I using was over thirty meters long. Why length of the lead is matter? Any advise please to go further.

There is a pin clip at the rear of drum remove this and simply pull the drum off

Hi,
Yes this is the startup button that has failed. It is a N.V.R switch that is designed to hold in until the voltage drops off and then releases to prevent the mixer from starting up suddenly on its own in the event of a power cut. Another reason could be that your using too long a extension lead as the voltage drop over the long lead may be enough to drop it below the switches limit, about 215 - 220 volts if I remember correctly.
If not the lead then its the switch and it needs replacing, not a hard job, just take the drum off undo the 4 screws on the back plate and unclip the switch from the casing making sure you note the wire position. It may also be a wire has come off the switch so look for that. To get a new switch give belle a ring 01298 84606.

I would say almost definately it will be the starter button itself just isnt latching however Ive never opened mine up to see how its wired.
