gilera stalker boggin down at full throttle?

sounds like you have changed the needles position in the throttle slide,you must have made it weaker by making it lower in the slide,either that or you have had a coincidental blockage of a main jet are you sure you have fitted the air filter back on to the carb properly if you took it off as this will make it run weak if its not on right.

I would suggest something hasnt been but back properly. Is everything nice and tight? If i was ok before hand I would start again. Have you still got the old cable? It will give you a clue on adjustment of cable etc
