Mend Nissan Primera 1.6 02 Working

fitting monitor display into dashboard?

have nissan 1.6 02 primera and the monitor display in the dashboard has stopped working. Was quoted €2300 + VAT. bought one from the breakers and i am assured that it works. How do i fit it and do i have to do anything to the other monitor before fitting
