Mend Vivitar Sd Card Digital Camera Memory

Sd door error?

When you close the SD door and turn the camera on it shows one picture from the internal memory and then gives an SD Door Open Error. The door is shut and shows one picture and then does this so I am not sure what is making it do this. It is a Vivitar Camera.
