How can I fix My Caravan fridge?

I am new to caravans, just purchased a pre-ownd Gypsey caravette in exceptional condition. the only problem is the fridge doesnt work on electric it gets hot but wont cool even after 12 hours running. It wont run on gas at all, I pulled the unit out and find that the burner doesnt ignite, no gas appears to be getting through. The gas tank is full and the stove works. Can anyone help please
