My Panasonic dvd player displays f61 what can I do to help it?

My dvd player was on during a lighting storm, and I think it got struck, from then on when u turn it on is displays F61, it stays on in cd/dvd mode or aux. longer, but when u switch it to the tuner the fan tires to come on but the whole thing shut off and says F61 is displayed, and it was on a surge protector?? Any ideas??
