my washing machine doesnt know when to stop filling up with water it just ?

I have a beko washing machine that is 20 months old. it doesnt turn the water off it just keeps filling up then when its full it drains with the water still flowing in to it. it was left on for 4hours the other day before i realised that it was happening any ideas as to why please?

Does it fill with the power switched off ? if so faulty water valve if not you have a faulty pressure switch or blocked press switch cleanv from top to bottom
