Mend Belling Oven Fit Bottom

How do you reattach the oven door on a Belling XOU252 Oven?

Hi There,

I recently took my oven door off to clean it however I can't seem to be able to get it to fit back on. There are two catches at the bottom of the oven door and two metal runners just above those which also slide into the oven. I was wondering anyone had any instructions on how re-attach the oven door as I can slide the runners in but the latches seem to fall short.

Thanks!

Problem resolved! (Cost me £45.00 for 2 mins work!)

For those who are in a similar situation follow these instructions and you should save yourself some money!

Remember this is for the Belling XOU252 model:

1, Lift up the latches on the two hinges on the bottom of the oven door.

2, Fold down the two metal runners above the hinges until they connect with the latches on the hinges.

3, Insert the hinges into the oven and release the two latches to allow the metal runners to pop into place.

Hey presto!...... it's as easy as that! I called Belling to get them to explain how I re-attach door and they couldn't....... they said I'd need an engineer to come out which would have cost over £70.00 for the privelage! Bunch of money grabbing so and so's!

Anywho...... follow the instructions above and you save yourself the hassle & money!
