yes just as crispy says you need an extractor for it you may be able to find a spindle or something with a similar size thread and screw it in until it touchs the end of the crankshaft then hold the rotor with a spanner on the flats in the middle and do it up as crispy said you need to give them a good whack to shock them off hit the end of the bolt and re-do it up and keep it up until it comes off.i use a proper extractor but then i have one as im a mechanic and you may not have one so the bolt option is an idea you may have to consider either that or take it to a bike shop and just get them to take it off for you.when it finally cracks off take it off carefully as it has a ramp and roller assembly on the back of it for the starter clutch mechanism and it can fall to bits easily.

Hi,undo the rotor centre nut, fit the puller to the rotor and tighten up nice and tight, then using a copper-faced mallet (or hammer and block of wood) give the puller centre bolt a medium whack! this should break the hold of the taper that the rotor fits onto and should now come away. Store safely any woodruff key that may drop out of the key-way.

there will be a t mark and a f mark on the generator rotor lign it up withn the t mark, then have the rocker cover off and look at the cam lobes they should be facing away from the cam followers so the followers are not being depressed as all,if they are being depressed it means its 360 degrees out so turn the crank over one complete turn until the t mark is lined up again and you will be able to see some markings on the camshaft that are dead in line with the flat surface of the head.then take out the cam chain tensioner and the exhaust pipe and carb off then undo the head bolts and remove any pipework for the coolant and take the ht cap off anf you will be able to lift the head off,i always try and keep some tension on the cam chain as if it drops don into the crankcase it can fall of the chain sprocket sometimes and be a git to get back on.
