Mend Fiat Punto Mk2 Fan Working Reg

fan not working on a w reg punto mk 2?

i have a fiat punto w reg 2000 mk 2 the inside fan not working , i took the motor out and connect it to the battery direct and works fine and took the resistor out not sure how to check that, any ideas people thanks

Fiat Fiat Punto Mk2 Vehicles, Cars Fan Working Reg

the connector where the power/control leads enter the carpet in the passenger footwell just under the glovebox will loosen over time. I have this problem on this same model and manipulating the connector will restore power to the fan normally until the lead gets knocked. This is obviously a short term fix but its the way to go.
